This is the beauty of silent wealth:
I don’t have LV, Gucci or Michael Kors. But I have Apple products which I use for trading, for travel and for entertainment. I prefer functionality over fame.
I don’t own a yacht, private jet or Forbes mansion. But I own 40+ properties which are self-owned, not out of partnerships, not out of flood control projects. No rich family. No strike of lottery.
I don’t have sports cars! But I bought my mama a brand new Montero. I can ride a tricycle, a jeep, LRT/MRT with utmost anonymity.
I have tried Japan’s speed bullet train. Boracay’s parasail. Moved from one country to another within Europe via train. Rode cable cars in Hongkong and Singapore. Nope, I don’t have a massive car collection. But I’ve been to 25 countries without having to scheme other people’s taxes.
Now in my 30’s, I hustle as a trader as if I were in my newbie days! But even if I don’t work, I have passive incomes from dividend stocks, non-trading related businesses. Technically speaking, I don’t really have to hustle that much anymore.
Silent wealth isn’t something people think you are. I love plain, muted colored clothes. I love mixing among the crowd – unnoticed, not seen. I enjoy life as an ordinary citizen without the glamour of being liked or seen. Yet my wealth is screaming to 9-digit level and nobody would probably even know. Or care.
Silent wealth is about finding your core, your peace, your calm. Silent wealth is when nobody sees you – yet there you are, unbothered, genuine and free.
Silent wealth does not even have to be about money. Maybe silent wealth means a healthy family, a faithful soul, a love that is true.
Define wealth how you want it to be – and that’s exactly how you will achieve it.
