Here’s how I do it:
1. I trade global markets. While I still can trade PSE, there are abundant opportunities globally. I want to be flexible and limitless when it comes to how I can grow my portfolios which are now split into local and global ones.
2. I travel a lot. I have been to 25 countries so far. My travel history serves as an “investment” not just in experience but also in terms of “ease” in applying for travel visas. Embassies look for evidence of your finances. With regular travels, I can apply for travel visas without any need for agencies or paid assistance.
3. I earn from global REITs, funds and dividend stocks outside the Philippines. While I do not have a property overseas, I am growing my money offshore through this.
4. I buy paintings whenever I travel abroad. So far I have a collection of 10+ paintings sourced from different countries.
5. I take globally recognized professional certifications. Even though I graduated from one of the Top 3 universities in the Philippines, to be honest it doesn’t matter when you’re overseas. If I am building my legacy as a trader, I want to be a globally recognised professional.
6. I love learning new languages! I am learning French, Mandarin and Spanish.
7. I network with foreign traders. Their question these days is, “How’s corruption going in your country?” LOL
8. I build businesses overseas. I will need to update my global venture map with this.
The world isn’t just your playground. The world is your home. While our bedroom is where we find comfort and peace at end of day, the outside world makes us real, genuine and fully alive – OFFLINE.
Mahal ko ang Pilipinas that I have grown investments here. Dito pa rin sa Pilipinas mananatili ang tatawagin kong “home.”
I love the entire universe that I feel it is conspiring to make me rich, happy and healthy.
