[long post ahead]
Hate, envy and skepticism will get you everytime. Yes, I turned $1000 to $200k in 3 months. As I’ve said, it’s not entirely impressive – talo pa rin ako ng mga bitcoin believers who bought at $20-$50 each and been holding until today. Few FB friends out there are.
But I’m not in competition with anyone. Market doesn’t even care about you and me. If I read comments on my FB page post, I’m glad followers and friends are happy for me. However, I could feel it drew that weird sense of “competition” among peers in trading community. Sa totoo lang, 10M is little pa nga if you do business or start-up. But yeah, the path growing such small capital is not easy. I’m not gonna sell the idea that trading is like living the beach life with pink moscato on the side (Shux, I miss tequila rose). Maliit ‘yun. I know people who killed crypto trades with 1k-10k% gains. 
People close to me know I am RUTHLESS in my pursuit towards excellence. Success is what I breed every single day. I’ve gone through hell and realised how God rescued me every time I am at the point of dungeon and desperation. Two decades of my life are reminiscent of MMK stories – we were homeless, there were even times we had nothing to eat, had to be scholar every single year, did sidelines until college. I worked my way up from rock bottom. My parents love us so much and did not give up on us. Everything is God’s grace and I’m merely a steward.
When you have nothing, you can have everything.
‘Yung nakikita niyong success – whatever assets or businesses I’ve acquired through the years, good trades, etc – you guys don’t know how powerful my waking days are to achieve this kind of momentum. When failures hit you, when people don’t understand your hustle, when the person you loved don’t get you and your dreams (past tense na haha), when you cry at night, when you have to keep going, when you feel different, misfit. But I think, despite all these things, I’m not yet done. I think I’m just getting started. I’m young, hungry and happy. Offline and online this is my DNA. Validation from people can even confuse me. If I believe that I’m mere steward, there’s none to impress. Proud ako, kasi pinaghirapan ko at wala naman ako tinapakang ibang tao.
Got tons of messages for fund management and mentorships. I think I can probably close in 50M-100M out of this network, even veteran traders who wanna fund. Newbies who wanna be mentored and hand-held. But for the sake of my sanity and privacy, I’m not keen pursuing the path of fame because I love my outdoor life. I remember when I once guested in a radio show (that was also my last “public” appearance), then I had my vacation overseas I think I bumped into 2 individuals asking for autographs and pictures. Ako ‘yung nabigla tsaka nahiya ako.. I was shocked na kilala pala ako even if I did not post any personal photos on my blogger account..
Let me debunk self-limiting beliefs here. ‘Yung parang mauubusan ng blessing? I don’t like that. Sure, there are external limitations and our situations are different. But let me pls remind you that this world is such a big playground. You gotta pay a big price if you wanna play hard and win big. You have to wake up, show up, grind and condition your brain, heart and soul – no matter how personal struggles hit you, no matter how circumstances control your reality = Objectivity, transparency, focus, patience, clarity, self-mastery, pure performance, etc.
Life is simple. My dreams are quite complex, yes. My own happiness is simple. I love simplicity and minimalism.
