I bought my first farm in my early 20’s.
Lagi sa isip ko nuon, mas maaga ako makabili ng property, mas mura.
True enough, a Php90K farm I bought was being offered for a million. And this was few years ago. Magkano na lang today. Maybe it could range Php1.2M to Php1.5M. Sobrang bilis ng price appreciation kapag ang isang agricultural property ay biglang tinirhan ng mga tao o naging semi-residential.
Everyone knows I am a trader.
Maybe not everyone knows how savvy I am when it comes to real estates.
Farms alone, I now have technically 6 but 2 of them could be developed into residential areas.
Nakakatuwa na halos lahat tayo nangarap nuon maging professional tapos kapag nagiging adult na gusto na lang magtanim-tanim, mag-alaga ng mga manok at mangolekta ng itlog sa umaga, may preskong kubo at naaani na gulay.
Tahimik na buhay.
Slow living.
Offline living.
Posting this to tell you practical advice:
One, kung gusto mo talaga ng farm, go! Pag-ipunan at simulan mo na pangarap mo. Sa Pilipinas pa rin ang ideal location para makabili ng farms in my opinion kahit nalibot ko na iba’t-ibang bansa.
Two, mas maaga ka magka-experience sa farming, mas maganda. Alamin mo costs sa pagpapatakbo ng farm, challenges. Para kapag hindi pala para sa’yo, pwede mo ibenta.
Three, ang offline living ay masaya. Simple. Peaceful. Tahimik. For me, ang totong definition ng success is mayaman ka na tahimik lang. Private at hindi loud. Lakas maka-validate kapag nasa farm ka. Pakiramdam ko, ito na ‘yung pinnacle ng success na hindi maibibigay ng luxury brands o ng titles sa mundo.
