Someone asked how I grew my property portfolio into 40 properties.
First and probably the top reason is, I started early. ![]()
I was 22 when I started my real estate journey. My first property is under Pag-ibig. Having been kicked out from the old shanty apartment, our family had to move. We couldn’t pay for rent for years.
Dating hindi makabayad ng renta, ngayon marami ng ari-arian. That’s how blessed I am, that I’m being responsible not to lose everything I’ve worked hard for.
Out of trading profits, I was able to pay for the property’s down payment. And we were able to move to our new place. My first property is therefore a residential one.
If you happen to be a follower of my page, you know I advocated buying your own farm.
One of my farms is being bought for 5X its purchase price. One for 10X.
My property portfolio grew because of splitting the property into small cuts, given that what used to be a farm is now being developed into residential area.
As I have mentioned, I grew my portfolio due to trading profits.
Nilalabas ko talaga profits because I want to see a tangible investment.
Why I didn’t just keep in my trading portfolio?
Because I don’t have to.
Because it’s not a very big capital that matters; it’s the trading skills set.
Siguro kung hindi ko inilabas, I would have a 9-digit trading portfolio. Not from prop firm, not from other people.
Everytime I see a certain property of mine, I’d say ah from $DD ‘to. From forex ‘to. From crypto ‘to. ![]()
Do I see risks of losing its value if China attacks Philippines? I would say I don’t dismiss the idea, but I trust that our friendly Fil-Chi community will intervene and negotiate to keep peace intact, given the growing businesses around the country.
Hindi ako mahilig sa sasakyan, mamahaling bags, jewelry, etc even though I can afford such things.
I prefer landed properties though I do have condos.
I foresee that farms will be less and more will be converted into recreational areas or residences.
End of day, we all have our choices how to grow our net worth.
Start early. Stay smart. Stay focused on your financial goals.
